Grood news! I posted some info about the mod on forum.hrwiki.org (the homestar runner wiki) and found a few people who were interested, including a mapper/coder volunteer! I think it's time to get this train wreck a'rollin'!! I personally have no actual skills, but as I do not mind continually restarting my compy or taking notes, I have come to the conclusion that I would make a good beta tester. I also have a very good head for new ideas.
The wiki wants it.
The people want it.
The homestarmy wants it.
Let's revive this mod!

Seriously, If you aren't going to do anything, why don't you just make it a small HL2 mod? It'd be more popular then... But converting would be a little difficult.
It has nothing to do with team management. This mod was never released because no one wanted to work on it. It doesn't matter how many fans there are or people who want to play it, because when it comes down to it NO ONE wanted to program for it. If that's different now tell me and I'll do whatever it takes to bring this mod back together, but until then there is no point. A lot of modeling work was done, along with various other stuff, but there's nothing close to a final release here because there was never anyone that could or wanted to program for Strongbad mod. It's failure had nothign to do with management at all, it had to do with members with zero dedication who had zero ability to perform and absolutely zero programming prospects.
We did have a couple of coders but they left the team because of studies or losing interest or something like that - just like the other team members. We would've needed more organized management.

Well, this mod seems pretty much dead at the moment. If there are people interested in working on this mod, PM me or leave a message here. We would need a whole new team: modelers, animators, mappers, texture artists, sound artists, coders and a leader. And they would need to be dedicated, skilled and DEDICATED.
Anyway, I'm not bringing this mod back to life now. But if enough people show interest in working on SBM, we'll see what happens.
