Welcome to the Projekt Vertilgung II section. PVII is a joint Wolfenstein3D mod between me (Zach) and James Ingham (and Dugtrio17 as coding support). I am in control of the graphics, maps, and ideas areas while James heads up the coding.

You're probably wondering why it's PVII right? Well because it's a sequal to a previous Wolf3D mod called, you guessed it, Projekt Vertilgung. I would not consider this a great achievment and original plans for PVII were scrapped because I had considered it a failure (despite the good reception from the Wolf community). However recently my partner James has revived the idea and I think that it might be an opportunity to redeem myself.

The game itself is in the early planning stages. So you might be wandering why it's 10% complete huh? Basically because that's all we'll be using from PVI. So about the only thing resembling PVI will be the title. So enjoy the ride. >:)

Oh and this is important. Don't visit the page listed. ModDB made me submit a website and all it is, is an old web page of mine thats gather web dust (there is some truth because it was once a PV website lol). But believe me there will be a website to visit ASAP. Like I said this is in the early planning stages.

NEW: Here's the Intro to the story of PVII:

Projekt Vertilgung II: Knight of Revenge

It begins...

We last left B.J. after he'd finished the evil Dr. Schabbs and his experimental Hitler clone. With his body leaking blood as an old hose would water, he stumbled into an empty elevator, flipping the switch just as the blackness consumed him. Blazcowicz lost conciousness.

***

Slowly, Blazcowicz came about. Still very groggy, he came to the realization that he'd been strapped to a sort of operation table with two doctorly men standing about him discussing his fate, "Do you szink he saw it?"

"I doubt it," replied the other man, "but vee can't take ze chance."

"Agreed." At which point the doctor produced a syringe and injected Blazcowicz.

***

He awoke, for the second time, very cold. He was dressed in prison fatigues and was, respectively, in a cold prison. His arms were bound behind him and he realized that he felt like shit. It didn't help that a group of cockroaches were feasting on a dead rat nearby. A heavy-set SS guard opened the cell door, hinges creaking. "Ah Guten Morgen prisoner 0122345623!" gloated the soldier. He encouraged B.J. to get on his feet. Being in a dejected state Blazcowicz proceeded to comply slowly. The guard wasn't satisfied and whopped him with his cold, steel submachine gun. B.J. found some strength and rammed his head into the Nazi's gut. The guard let loose a breathless yelp. Another guard stormed into the small cell, calling for reinforcements. None were necessary as the soldier shoved Blazcowicz into a corner and emptied his clip, shells clinging on the floor like Christmas bells.

***

At Allied Command, nobody was optimistic. They hadn't heard from Agent Blazcowicz in two weeks. Fearing the worst they went ahead and bombed the location suspected of being the Project Vertilgung hub. Secretly they knew it wasn't enough. On to plan B: Expecting B.J. to be dead or captured they recruited another agent to investigate. The man was airdropped near the bombed out base in the Austrian Alps...

**

Lieutenant Jimmy Patterson was too anxious to be cold. The wind and snow would have made any man shiver. But not every man has orders to investigate a Nazi bio-base, suspected of housing literal monsters of human creation. The adrenaline made Jim momentarily forget the eminent frostbite.

While exploring the ruins of the base (for the Allied bombs had found their mark) Patterson began to feel reassured that despite the tragedy of Blazcowicz's apparent death, he might not have to worry after all. That is, until he heard the slurred voices of two drunken Germans. "Can you believe zis? Zey destroyed ze top floor und zat is all! I am confident vee vill vin diss war, especially vith our new line of zoldiers! German inginuity is amazing, eh Oskar?" Well... maybe it was only one German drunk:

"Vill you shutup Viktor? Vee have a job too do shiesskopf! Zees expirments the doctors speak of scare me but if it feeds my family 'tis vorth it! Ok our patrol is over! Tis too cold zu spend much time up here!" Patterson realizes this may be his only opportunity. The soliders led him to a hole in the rubble into which the soldiers descended. Unexpectedly one of the soldiers (guess which one) tripped and let loose the sound of a decrescendo scream and a series of loud, sickening, thumps. "Viktor!" yelled the sober guard.

Patterson couldn't believe his luck. He ran towards the hole and carefully followed the guard who was much too preoccupied to notice his follower. The guard found his friend at the bottom of the shaft near a solid metal door with bolts all around the edges. Not a door easily shouldered open... Patterson shoved the open end of his M1 Garand into the man's neck. "Don't move or you will be joining your glutton friend here."

"Vat do you vant?" inquired the soldier in a defiant manner.

"Where does this door lead to?"

"Viy shood I tell you?" rejoined the Nazi.

"One guess..." with this Jimmy shoved the gun a littler deeper into his spine.

"Ok ok it leads to the undamaged interior of the base! Just don't shoot."

"Do you have a map?" interrogated Patterson.

The German handed over rolled up piece of paper. "Danke sehr," said Patterson as he pulled his trigger and put a hole through the man's neck. "Say hi to Viktor for me..." While searching the corpses for a key he heared the doors tumblers unclick. "OH shit!"

END!!!

Projekt Vertilgung II utilizes a progressive storyline, much like a movie, in which the plot unfolds as you play. How does Jimmy Patterson discover the Nazi plans or B.J.'s fate? More simply, who's behind the door? Play to see.

Very good story, it sound like it will be a very interesting mod. I have suggested this to others but i think that your sprites should be able to be viewed from all 8 directions (like the guards) because it really adds a neet effect that makes the game seem more real... I hope this turns out...
