Played this mod a lot. The best one so far for me. Recently tried two new versions Of this mod. 4.5 and 4.8. Well I was shoked by what has been done to my beloved mod. 4.5 added few nice things, made it a little easier to collect things, but few heavy minuses, first one difficulty changed back from 127 to 8, second and the heaviest is bug when megacharging crafted jewels, jewel level rises by 40 per charge so some normal jewel would have at least 1000 level requirement, and if you input this jewel into item, item level rises by 2 x jewel level, and each next jewel in item raises item level requirement by jewel level requirement. And so I had helm with 50 level requirement but after inputting 4 jewels with 1000 level requirement you get helm with 5000 level requirement, whats more these jewels are trash compared to 5000 level... Now about 4.8 they removed all essential differences between Zy-El and other mods but scroll system, no more 7500+runewors, no more Megacharging craft stones, and no more posters.. The game became same **** as any other mod... So I had to delete those two and remove saves I strongly not recomend to use any other version but 4.4c - the one that is originally finalized by Kato. Great thx to Kato and Mirada for such an amazing mod!

Although this mod is hard AF it's one of those old gems I never quite gave up on and would like to start it over for a little R&R

This is hands down the worst mod I've ever come across. It has a ton of neat features, or so I've read, but getting started is retardedly difficult. It's unnecessary. Unless you like grinding out 5 levels just to finally unlock a skill (I'm not even kidding,) while only being able to kill Quill Rats for terrible exp, as everything else will just destroy you, stay far away from this crapfest.
Ok i must ask it is normal that on clvl 60 i am still in act 1 (dificulty from map to map is increasing to fast in my opinion) i am doing somethink wrong?
Yeah totally normal, you can even try to grind to lvl 300 in first 2 acts, coz it is very difficult mod, try increase difficulty level and grind right out of rogue camp, mostly collect scrolls and increase droprate for gold and magic, after things become much easier...
