Battletech: The Capellan Solution is a Total Conversion for the real time strategy game C&C Generals.
Players can take the role of the House Liao conquerors, the St. Ives Compact defenders, or the noble peacekeepers from the Star League.
Battle it out for total domination with more than 65 Mechs, including some never before seen units, as well as tanks, aerospace fighters, and even Dropships.
Everything, from units, to buildings, maps, music, sound effects, and even the game shell, will be modified and enhanced.

If the TC is not working, make sure you have done the steps below:
+ install The Capellan Solution on a CLEAN INSTALL of C&C Generals
+ install the latest The Capellan Solution patch
+ install the latest C&C Generals patch, applies for The First Decade as well
+ DO NOT install any other mods. If you have installed other mods before, it can cause conflicts with The Capellan Solution. Some mod's uninstallers will not clean all the files so it will cause conflicts.

It feels appropriate to call this post The Remembrance. Battletech Mod Productions died long ago, as did all our mods (Battletech Space Wars, The Capellan Solution, MTS). They have been mostly forgotten, not even an entry in Sarna.net to remember them by.
I still remember them, and the good people that were with us - like NathanKell, Maddog3060, LynX, DeathAngel, Flyingdebris, verybad, coralon, and many more. Luckily, a few people still remember, still leave a message from time to time. Luckily, ModDB still has all this stuff archived, although most of the MTS images were MIA (dunno why).
MTS is still dead, but we can remember it and add to the epic poem. I'll be posting images and info that I can find on my backups that seemed lost in time... but were suddenly found.

Big IF... I'm looking for the files for the unreleased version that had tons of extra content. This won't be ported to ZH but if I can find and finish that last version I will.

The mod was active for two years after the last released solution so there must be new things we missed from lack of release.
So... this thing won't work if you have other mods? So Rise of the Reds and Shockwave, two other C&C mods I have, are conflicting it so... that's the reason I can't play it.
If you want to run more than one mod, copy the whole of the Generals folder into your documents, rename it to something resembling the mod you want to install, then go put it back in the EA folder and install the mod you want to it. I've just done this today and it's allowed me to run Only War, Xenoforce and Rise of the Reds.
This TCS still works for me but if you like giant Mechs or Titans then i suggest try Warhammer 40,000: Epic Legions Moddb.com or XenoForce Moddb.com mods here at Moddb.
