This mod is being built for GTA:SA engine.

The main maps will be the Mansion and the Hive. A complete mod of Raccoon City will be in development, but may not be part of the beta release do to the time it will take to construct.

The mod will be, to date, composed of a complete detailed map of Raccoon city, which includes the mansion and the hive. Raccoon city will be based on the movies and the games. We are using the movies because the game does not go through very much of the city and the fact that we have a lot of information to go off of from the movies. The Mansion will be based off Resident Evil Remake except for a couple of modification to the basement area, to which will be the entrance to the train station to go to the hive. The hive will be based on the movies and will have multiple levels fully modeled. Some areas of the Hive will be locked off at the release do to the fact that it would take forever to model, though it may be in the works later in an update.

As for the characters, we are working multiple zombie models with, hopefully, a couple different animations to go with each. This will depend on how far SA can be modded. The zombies may be difficult because we don't know exactly how much we can do with it yet. Though we will be creating custom animations the zombies.

We also have quite a few vehicles, land and air, that have already been completed by Fraz. We are also going to have wrecked, disabled vehicles to spread around the city for the picture of chaos that we are shooting for.

The story line is still under development, but the main things that we have discussed are a story line with multiple main characters running parallel in time. The story will jump back and forth between the characters in a pulp fiction kind of way. With possible crossovers in there stories. This is what we are hoping for anyway. We may assign different stories to different team members to develop in there own ways and then tie them together later. Though they will all follow the base story which we don't have yet.

Missions will be written to follow the storylines, so to accomplish tasks that need to be completed for the other stories to be completed, also not forgetting the GTA style free rome. Which is the funniest part of the game as we all know.

As for the actual task to be completed in the modding of GTA:SA. We will be completely changing the mission and story of SA. Raccoon City, a number of characters, and vehicles will be added. Animations and sound files will be replaced. We are not removing Cities from SA, but most likely replacing some of the vast country or the ocean area with are city, depending on the limits of the game.

Than continue making it for V1.. dont give up.. if someon wanna play it than remove that ****** update, who cares! Dont stop case that stupid hot coffee mod tresh, this will be way better!

Frankly when I was on the team I took through 2 forums and major effort ideas, however I think the big picture caught up to us and thats what canned it.

Mistake #1 Started out as a mod to the golf course in VC ended up planning to redo the entire San Andreas city.

Mistake#2 LONG periods with little activity. Recipe for death 80 percent of the time. A real morale squasher.

Mistake#3 Hot Coffee... Thanks to the backlash from that mod, San Andreas 2.0 has no modding allowed. This means that only people with the V1 version could have used the mod. Not good in the least bit.

If you ever plan on starting a mod please insure you can keep the work flowing. Small Team in steady work steam > Big team not working and making excuses (I see this in alot of mods)

As for this mod? Well its over and im sorry about it. Perhaps a renewed effort can be made with a PC version of a future GTA game but if San An 2.0 is any indication.. It wont happen, sorry.

your gonna have to ask Silent Viper about the guns they are all his. he modeled and textured them so he owns the right to them.
