Pilotable Strider Mod is a HL2:Deathmatch modification that allows you to play a deathmatch with a pilotable strider, a helicopter, or an APC. Also included a Sniper rifle!!.
You can control the Strider like the HL2 Vehicles, but also you can use the machine gun, Anti-matter cannon and leg attack.
You can control a helicopter too, using his machine gun and the bombs.
And also a combine APC, with his machine gun and his Missiles.

The SM Team are working now in a new version of the Strider Mod 0.2.75 (the single player version) called Strider Mod SX, using the source SDK base and porting the Strider Mod entity from Strider Mod 0.3.51.
We will post soon new screenshots from the new Strider Mod SX. We're targeting the following features:
- Single Player experience.
- Pilotable Dog
- New entity called qua_pilotable(where you can script your own pilotable using LUA, like a headcrab. Click here for more info):
- Works from Source SDK base code. (You need only HL2 to play it).

Great mod! Too bad theres no servers, that would make it a perfect 10/10.
Despite that, i got together a lan party to try it out. About 5 or 4 people, but still.... enough. We all had a blast. Loved the strider :).

After the latest hacker attack and the loss of forums stridermod.com, we redesigned the site with a new bulletin board system and the announcement of a new version of the Strider Mod nostalgic for those of 0.2.75. This is the Strider Mod SX (Single Xperience), a single player version of the current Strider Mod
This is a version halfway between the already announced Strider Mod IV and Strider Mod 0.3.5.1 to test the Source SDK based on the Strider Mod. It will include more refined version of the Strider, in addition to the helicopter, the APC and the new controllable: Dog.
Brand new single player for this release are as follows:
Source SDK basis as a new platform
New controllable: Dog
New entity scriptable call qua_pilotable
Strider improved version 0.3.5.1
Coming soon publish a video and pictures of this new version.
