You play as Jack Slater, an ordinary guy with an ordinary life in his home, Downtown New York. The year is 2013, and the battle for space-age weapon technology has already begun. Jack finds himself in the middle of it, as he in one day invited to his Boss’ office to discuss something “top-secret”, as Jack’s Boss so shadily put it. An ordinary day is turned into a nightmare, as Jack slowly starts to find out what is happening, and what is the cause of it. But the attackers have orders – to kill everyone involved. They’ve seen Jack, and Jack has seen them. To stay alive, Jack has to transform from a low-level arms scientist into a cold-blooded killer. To live to see another day, Jack has to become The Hunter.
