Synergy is a Half-Life 2 co-opertive multiplayer modification.
We have evolved from multiple mods (DC Co-op 2, Dev Co-op and Tim-Coop) to offer you the greatest co-op experience. This modification strives to give Half-Life players a fresh, new look into co-operative play for Half-Life 2.
The modification features several game types such as Co-op, Teamplay and Deathmatch. The modification also features new weapons and NPCs.
The mod features our own levels and the ability to play the Half-Life 2 campaign co-operatively.

Hello everyone, good news!
We've been working really hard since Friday night, trying to resolve all the issues everyone has posted on our forums and in emails.
Lots of map problems have been fixed, some changes to the game code and of course, new maps have been added.
To get this new update, simply launch Synergy from Steam or CLICK HERE.

thw game works fine but when i try to join a server is says server is out of date.
Odd, some synergy server lags like crazy... and they are the usual ones you can enter.
You see some with <100 ping, but when you enter it skyrockets.
the servers that run 10/10 will have the most lag for you as it takes upp alot of system resources/needs powerful servers to have all of those NPCs and players. The smoothest possible gameplay is with the 4 player servers, which is the number that is recommended for Synergy, although I play on and enjoy both.
Does this run with only HL2 installed?
Yes this mod runs with only HL2 installed. You can play on any servers running maps that only require HL2 (original game) content.
AWESOME UPDATE!! All I wanna know, guys, is if you have any plans to support co-op play for popular single-player mods like Minerva, Riot Act, etc? Either way, kick-ass mod guys, I'm having LOADS of fun!
Minerva: metastasis is already supported. You just have to mount the game and you should be able to play it.

tried downloading it from steamworks, wouldnt download and when i launched it said things about re-downloading files, and just keeps popping up taht dialog box.

i went to hl2files to get it.
