Abandoned was originally based off the JupiterEX engine (F.E.A.R) as a competitive multiplayer experience.
The Vally, taking place in the middle of nowhere, recruits players into Ringmaster Mephisto's "carnival of madness" in an effort to once again rebuild the very foundations of the once famous tourist attraction during the early 1950's. As part of the crew, players can choose between alternate "Freak-show" abominations like the twin brothers Geppetto and Boris (Flimsy and Flubby), the amazing Firebreather, Miss Seductive and her bonesaw unicycle, along with several others! Each character varies, acquiring unique traits and abilities to chase and hunt down the escaped auditor wearing the classic: pink bunny suit. In addition, attractions located throughout this deserted fair will also be interactive (meaning rollercoasters, farris wheels, spinners, glass houses are all operational ingame and able to use/ride by players, to further assist in capturing the auditor). Each map is based off certain parts of the entire carnival, so while one map will feature the entrance to the carnival with different interactive "Death" houses {Modified fun houses where floors drop plunging players into spiked pits, hook chains swaying from root tops, landmine booby traps, etc}, another map will be based off inside of a glass house {Confusing players into seeing more then one of each character...which reflection is the right one?}. Thats not all, the carnival is worn out and rustfull, attractions can break down at any moment so watch out!

The Seamless Realities team has finally launched their FEAR total conversion website for project "Awaken". You can visit their website by clicking here, as it contains all of the information you need to know about the TC. From the basic plot, all the way down to concept art and character designs.
For those of you who've just heard about Awaken, the project started last year in june of 05 with a total of 5 students from UAT (University of Advancing technology). From there, they've been discussing and getting down the ideas they want while seperating the possible from the impossible with the JupiterEX engine (Which is the engine that F.E.A.R runs off of). Well I can't say sounds good because I have no clue what the mod is about, but I love suprises and from what you say this sounds like it's going to be pretty awsome. Good luck I'll be looking foward to this mod.

I don't see you requireing a level designer, but still. I wanna know how you get the editor to work so I can try it out; I'm currently on 3 mods and choosing between 2 others to join up after I finish with these three (which will be soon) - you seem like a nice candidate since you already got people on fields that are hard to fill - coding, modeling etc. I'd like to help, but I first wanna test the software so I know what I'm at, don't want a nervous breakdown.
