Star Wars: Bloodlines is an RPG similar to the SNES RPGs Zelda III and the Final Fantasy series'
The story takes place following the original Star Wars trilogy and features many familiar faces, both good and evil' The elements of the game will remain true to those of the Star Wars universe'
The engine is being programed in Visual Basic 6 from scratch and contains a mix of hand-drawn graphics as well as graphics from the PC game Yoda Stories'

I can't believe we missed it, but Star Wars: Bloodlines turned 4 on December 4th.
The original game will be ported to a newer engine next year in preparation for the sequel.

Amon-Ra? Really? This game apparently doesn't respect the SW canon (Anakin doesn't have a father: he was conceived by the Force itself through Shmi Skywalker) but I'll try it anyway, as I've never heard of a SW RPG before. It might just be fun.
BTW, "passing through a remote galaxy?" I believe you meant "passing through a remote system" since the entire SW (including the expanded universe) takes place in one single galaxy...

Yer graphics seem almost exactly like that old one.
Most of the graphics were taken from Yoda Stories, but there are some new graphics in there as well.
The game, however, is different from Yoda Stories.

Visual Basic? Ive never thought of VB being able to handle and make games such as this. im impressed! ill be sure to check this one out. Any tutorials on how to make a visual basic game that you know of?
Thanks. A lot of what you can do with C++ can be done in VB6. Yes, C++ code will more than likely be faster, but sometimes you can tweak the VB6 code so it's comparable or the speed difference is moot. You do have to go down to the API level with something like this. I don't recall any VB6-specific tutorials, but look into game loops in general and the GDI API calls.
