This is a total conversion made with the Quake 4 engine,we try to recreate the requiem:avenging angel universe and main story. The background will be the same, but missions enemy and interactivity will be improved.
You are Malachi, an angel fighting in a mystical and futuristic world against fallen angels , controled by a totalitarian army leaded by demons.
In the adventure, you'll be able to launch spells, acquire the power to flight, stop the time, take control of enemies, resurrect people and more.
You'll also have access to futuristic and destructives weapons.

Actually, i need to release it as soon as i can. To have a free mind when Alien : Colonial Marines comes out and especially, to be even more focused on Beyond The Red Line. I worked on two maps, which are not finished at all... and i need to find more time to tweak some stuffs about weapons and powers animations. I'll post some new pictures on the website this week.
About Xen, I mostly worked on the scenario, which is pretty finished actually. And the final part of the gameplay and gamedesign details.
So, again, don't worry, we're still here... waiting in the dark for that Gearbox game.

I remember playing a demo of the original ages ago... Man, those pink ratlike, mouth full of teeth things, freaked me out, and man, the powers where awesome. Don't own Quake 4, but, hmm, I'll definitely consider getting it now. ;D So, yeah, do keep up the awesome work, as has been displayed, because it looks really awesome. ;D
some real nice ideas nice design of enemies some nice work done but however
the AI in the demo video looked extremely poor and does seem like a continuous stray of just easily spraying bullets everywhere
the player didnt seem to be challenged at all

The actual player which is me... is in god mod. And besides that, we don't have maths genius in our team or AI specialist, since, we working at two since a year with Sebultura.
So no, it won't be any AI improvements, but, believe me, if you don't spend your time to retrieve your health fully in a little corner with Lay on Hands power, it will be pretty hard... even for a skilled player.
And talking about AI, people really have to think about something before writing it down on a website. Seriously, how many developers in modding community can really "change", i mean, not tweak, adjust, or optimize, but Change, improve... radical changes... a Artificial Intelligence ?
I don't think they're so much guys capable of doing that... so for a mod... there's no way the AI becomes "WOW", and ESPECIALLY on an engine like the Doom Engine which has a poor AI.
welll now that uve explained your in GOD mode its no obvious why the player seems to walk through the enemies in the video
and yer while very very very few modders actually can adjust AI so your right it is highly unlikely and DOOM 3 Engine i crap when it comes to AI
but when i saw that video couple of months back the AI looked so poor but now uve explain ur in GOD MODE so no worries
but hopefully u may still be able to tweak the AI lol
or better yet u may find someone who can join the team and actually write better AI
I really like the idea, i also have an original copy of the game and a really loved it. ^^ Can't wait to download this thing once its complete.

Oh my, I still have the original Requiem in the box and everything, loved that game a lot! Be really good to see what you do with the game on Q4, stuff you've done so far looks awesome! Are you going to include all the magical powers in the original, looking forward to being able to throw locusts at enemies, freeze them and most of all possess them! Watching :D

I'm the leader of the Requiem modding Team, i'm finishing the release as it is actually because i'm the only one still working on it actually.
If you want to take the project as we stopped, I wanna talk about it with you. We are actually planning to make something else with a new team, so you can take the project if you want... we're gonna release that opensource anyway. But i still want to centralize ressources new stuff around the mod, even if everything as not been going on as i planned.
