Assault Coop Mod is all about co-op! It brings you the joy of assault mode and turning it into player vs. AI action. Each map will include save points, objectives, events, and even a mini-storyline to it. You will fight to complete the mission along with your friends and along with some AI allies. The reinforcement time will stay in its usual state, its adjustable and useful for those who don't want to spawn at different times when you all die. The mod will include new weapons (and characters). Each game mode is taken from the original Assault mode and fixed up to fit these three gaming styles!
Game Modes in Assault_Coop:
-Allied_Warfare- (bots) play AI and player vs. AI and player(complete!)
-Cooperative_Campaign- (coop) play through storylines and levels that use assault flags as save points. Fight against AI and encounter friendly AI buddies as well.(complete!)
-Fort_Ambush- (shoot) raid or defend a base with hordes of enemies. No storylines here. Based on player vs. AI action.(complete!)
-all original 3 gamemodes FFA,TDM, and Assault
So far its just myself(flameknight7). I am recruiting people to join the team!
I fixed the scripts so that this mod functions online, LAN, and dedicated servers!

ChooseMap level - you and your friends can choose which map to go next in this map. There will be various weapons and AI spawn points to mess around with.
Stock Maps - the original stock maps for farcry will be tweaked so that you are able to spawn AI and fight in these maps.

Assault Coop LAN gives truth to the meaning Assault and Coop. The game mode is set to the well
known game mode ASSAULT. Instead of capturing the flag against human players, you can play
against over 200 AI controlled mercs COOP style! So grab your friends and have an awesome LAN party!

I wish i could help you but with far cry im skilless, Will this be okay to play only with bots? dont use multiplayer much :P
you can spawn bots on any map with the mod. You can play on the BOTS gamemode and spawn like any number of bots and start blasting away.
woot i editted the first 2 campaign maps so far and they are workin great. theres no lag, slightly more difficult, added new weapons, added more AI, and coop!
Sry guys for the delays on everything. I'm stuck with 6 5 hour classes a week and work.... Though i have recently finished scripting and fixing some bugs for easier AI spawn placement. (This means making the campaign maps for coop is so much faster now!) :D I'm checking the maps for bugs, doing the loadscreens, testing clientside, and finishing building the ChooseMap map where all the weapons can be fired, spots for spawning AI, and where you can choose which map to go next!
I'm hopefully goin to make the maps play custom sounds or some music so that you guys can have some epic moments :P Just note that I am still and currently the only person working on this mod :( I hope any of you would like to help map for the mod and I'll teach you how to use all the addons, entities, and triggers i have added.

With the Campaign_Coop mod under Far Cry 1.1, the mounted guns don't seem to work. When you try to use one, it logs this error:

To duplicate the problem: Load the mod, set log_Verbosity=2 and log_FileVerbosity=2 in console, start a LAN game: COOP/map River, then try to use the mounted gun at the start of the map.

oke listen i have problems with the coop story mode (campaign Coop beta)
i play it with my brother direct connect LAN 2 pc's.
i was hosting the game, but it run's fine till my brother have to prone that wont work and he can't trow grenades and stones and he can't shoot!
im hosting the game and i can do everything!
and sometimes my brother walks towards me on his screen, but on my screen hes walking with his head to the wall :p
please help me S.O.S
