CE: Legends is a total conversion mod that pays tribute to Codename Eagle, a game released in 1999. The timeline is around WWI including biplanes, early tanks, a motorcycle, even a giant zeppelin blimp. Gameplay is geared for action and each player starts out with an array of weapons to choose from. The level “No Man’s Land” is included in this build of the mod along with support for several original BF2 levels that use new gamemodes.
Supported gamemodes include: Capture the Flag, BF2 vs CE, and Singleplayer

Feels great being able to shoot at the ground and not randomly blowing up on NML. This game got me into games.

me and alot of other people are currently looking for a mod based on the korean war
even if its just the models
like the tanks and aircrafts and infantry and all but with the bf2 maps would be exceliant
its just so we can use the equipment mainly
like the mig-15

Of course the models aren't of 2006 standards, they're based on models created in 98/99 for the original Codename Eagle. Neither the original or this mod is intended to be realistic by the way, it's about arcade fun.
Gameplay's more important then graphics.
Do not on any way take this as offence. But the model really sucks, specaily the Allie Tank.
aguynamedbob712 mate if you uninstall the copy you've got then download the 0.33 version to your desktop yhen befor ypu run the set up right click on it goto properties you should see a option to unblock it do so apply and ok it then run the installer again this should sort the problem out for yo i'm on xp home sp2 i have just done all that and bingo no ctd.i'll keep checking back here over the next week let me know if this help's out at all.fun sp mod this had a lot of fun with it.if you lije mp mod's checkout nations at war mod that's brilliant
i dowlnloaded it too and i looke like a really good mode. BUT when i start the game my screen goes blac then goes back to my desktop and the NOTHING, nothing happens, what do i do?!!
i can't get this mod to start downloaded and installed it click on desktop icon screen goes black then my desktop comes back.i have bf2 patch 1.22 please help me out

The gameplay is surprisingly good compared to this is very fast made and the graphics are 2 years old.
