Robbery is going to be a mod of hl2dm, it may have single player, we aren't positive on that note. The mod will take place at different maps which are simply houses(anything from a normal house to a mansion), the player will either be a Thief or a Housekeeper.
The thieves have a crowbar, pistol, and can buy items such as nightvision and such. Thieves will be able to do many things, such as cutting the power to a house. Then using nightvision to get around unseen.
The housekeepers can use basic items that you would find around a house, such as: a hatchet, knife, sledgehammer, etc. The housekeepers will have custom buy menus for things such as: security cameras, traps, and a lot more.
Currently we are thinking that the thieves are going to be a bit overpowered and so the housekeepers will get some other cool things to(like a blowtorch =D).We will also have stuff such as presents at christmas time, spookier at halloween, etc. To make the game a bit creepier, some floorboards creak when stepped on, so the housekeepers may have the power go out and suddenly hear creaking floorboards.

We have our new website online. You can find this at Robberysource.com. Also, I would like to reassure everyone that the team is still HARD at work on this mod and that we aren't quitting. We need coders and character modelers, check the help wanted for more information.
Only registered members can share their thoughts. So come on! Join the Mod DB community today (totally free) and do things you never thought possible.
Do not ignore Hax. He apparently seems to be apart of the team.
Ignore Hax^, this should still be the main robbery source one, he made another for what I see to be no reason...
The new page for the R : S Mod is Moddb.com
...This mod has got a original story and it will own
Not many updates, we need coders and maybe modelers/animators. I'm pretty inactive currently but the rest of the team is still working on it. The new website can be found at www.robberysource.com. There are new screenshots to show how much has been done since what's posted here.
What we really need is a skilled skinner who can work with UV maps. Our permanent website is going up so the current one is down right now.
hmm... nice concept, Don't think it's going to catch on but who knows. ? You need a better mapper as well. Just a thought.
I think this mod will catch on pretty quickly because of its originality. Also the maps are not done yet, so we can not judge. If you take a look inside the maps the global idea looks alot better.
Howdy. I'm one of the coders on the team, and I must say that we have a very capable team. However, WE STILL NEED MORE CODERS AND MODELERS! If you are interested, please contact me at chaosfire90@gmail.com. Thank you for your time.
