It all began with the Climate Controller. The Combine built it in hopes of controlling Earth's climate for future use. But things went awry. Interacting with the chaotic nature of Earth's weather patterns, the Controller caused parts of the planet to be scorched into bone-dry deserts while plunging others into an endless winter. But in some places, such as City 17, the Controller worked, allowing the Combine to fully control temperature and weather patterns.
The sudden change in climate caught many civilians off-guard, resulting in a death toll in the thousands in the first few days alone. Rebel forces were annihilated, and the remnants that survived were ambushed and slaughtered. Few rebel outposts were able to maintain a significant presence. Yours is one of them.
In the remains of a frozen city, separated from the Lost Coast by an ocean, is where you start. You are John Hayes, an ordinary rebel stationed in an outpost on the edge of the city. You wake up and go to get your orders from your commanding officer, but that plan comes to an end quickly...

Its this time of year again for a media update! And, this actually comes out about the same time Subvertus has turned one year old!
In the two level shots, you can see our progress of skinning and putting the AK5 game. This is just one of the many weapons planed for this mod.
The other piece of media, the concept of Mark Athlo, is by Nucron. He is one of the custom NPCs that will be in-game for you to interact with.
Now, is also the time we ask you, as the community to help us out. The mod has gone a restruction and was reduced to the core members. Our current needs consist of this:
*Concept Artists to draw out environmental areas and other things needed by the team.
* Texture artists to texture models and create map textures for the level designers to us.

A news update from the new TC 'Faith' for HL2:
Seems it's true as Spas 12 says it's dead on the forums. I hope they at least release what that have as a demo.
Development is still on and going good =) We dont use the public forums much, but dev forums are hot. And yeah, we have a small problem with bots.
Is development on this mod still going? Because I checked out their forums and the latest post there are spam bots.

Now that summer's approaching we're starting to get back into the swing of things -- some of our team members are still wrapping up school, but after that we'll be able to churn out a solid amount of content.
