Team Freeze is a teamplay gametype in which players are frozen instead of killed. A frozen player cannot move or shoot, they can however view their non-frozen teammates via the "FreezeCam". Frozen players can be knocked around with rocket blasts and won't suffer damage, however falling, burning, or crushing damage can cause death, allowing the player to respawn into the existing match. Other than already mentioned, there are really only two ways for a player to be freed: A fellow teammate stands next to him/her for 3 seconds, or the entire team is frozen, resulting in a "shatter." Shatters occur when all players on a given team are frozen.
The player who makes the "kill" on the last member of the opposing team will be awarded all the frags for that round and his/her team score will be incremented accordingly. When a team is shattered, any frozen players of both teams are freed.
Bots have a pretty good understanding of Team Freeze gameplay and will attempt to defrost a teammate based on team survival.

I recently got word from a prominent European gaming rag that they're going to include Team Freeze in the February edition of their publication. I'll let you know more when I can spill more details. While closing in on Beta 0.14, I've been coding with increasing fury in order to hop back in-game and "test" out the results--it's becoming really fun to "test" ;)

Freeze the other team by shooting them untill they are frozen. Thaw out your teammates by standing next to them for a few seconds. The goal is to completely freeze the other team.

haha, looks like a good mod... but iono if you have it already, but maybe you could have a gun that where it freezes someone the first hit, then the second hit it explodes em... but the person is only froze for a certain time limit, and the gun reloads slow and its a gun that tkaes 1 bullet..
The Badgergoose webserver has gone to the great server farm in the sky. Tomorrow, a friend of mine will, while going to pay his last repects, try to kickstart the old bugger and see if we can't squeeze a little more life out of it's apple dual 180 Mhz ppc's.
So, while the Team Freeze homepage is down, I've been busyworking out some kinks. Most will be happy to know that I've completely revamped the scoring to be like the original Freeze Tag. A freeze gives the player one point, as does thawing out a teammate. A shatter gives the player a bonus score of 1, and the player's team also gets 1 point. After a team scores 8 points, they win. I've also been working on the bugs people have been reporting and most are clearing up without much complication.
Tried out your mod here today. You've got a nasty comp freeze bug when you are frozen in there somewhere. I've had to reboot several times after I've been frozen.
I'll keep a watch out.
