In single player mod The Lost City you should get out of the city grasped by Combine forces.
With it you will be helped by one of few survived insurgents.
The basic emphasis was done on study of maps and gameplay.

Sometimes when I load this level, I randomly start outside of the start room, outside the level, and immediately fall to my death....
Why? It only happens sometimes.
Just finished playing through, a nice evening! I see some other comments saying a few things I thought too. Working back - yes, the possibility of getting stuck without rpg rounds doesn't make sense. I thought maybe you could get further down the beach and maybe find one, but no such luck. Would have been good to maybe have a bit more ammo and some more challenges down the beach. All that sand, I was expecting antlions! Agree also that the striders just stopping for you could be better. I mean, they were rough enough as it is, but its not realistic. Also, is it intentional that your medic is suicidal??? My girl was determined to die. I couldn't keep her alive past the 2nd strider, even escorting her back almost to the beginning of the streets, and giving her the go and stay command. Well, at least it kept me by the ammo crate. Rpeating one other poster, yes, the level design was very nice, and the transition between the different areas was natural and smooth.
Oh yes, also, would have liked a bigger finish. I was expecting that one boat to come in for a pickup, like I saw in one other mod, or maybe a rendezvous with some other Resistance and bringing you into a safe house or bunker. But overall, excellent work, and I hope to see more from here!

the ending wasn't spectacular enough and i thought i would have had a chance to explore the city more (enter the buildings... at least for some ammo/medkits) but i liked the general atmosphere of the city and it's well mapped (i mean the technical point of view)
Nicely mapped, but there is some lack of interactivity: only the first of dozens of doors opens, there are no vehicles or elevators, and NPCs are very sparse.
Three technical problems:
1)Music volume is at maximum and can't be lowered.
2)Will not start in widescreen.
3)Installer uses wrong directory.
This mod needs to get new chapter/episode or something.

i dont like it. its quite boring, there's nothing new, there r no resistance and there r no ammo. awful mod. anyway, story it quite good.

Sounds pretty cool, and the new screens are looking good so far. Keep it up!
Some very nice City17 streets, could easily fit into the story, except there is no story and it’s rather short. The place isn’t bombed out or anything, so it could be very early in the uprising. I would love to see a remake or something with story and more maps.
