I got the mod to work with the GoG GoTY version. Here is what I did for anyone interested. I did this on a Razer Blade 14 2022 laptop on Windows 11. It also works if you are running Windows 11 on Parallels on a Mac (Apple Silicon).
Instructions to install Zodiac mod using GoG GoTY:
1. Install GoTY on your computer (if not already installed).
2. Created a new folder called C:\DeusEx and copy the files from the GoTY folder into C:\DeusEx.
3. Download the Zodiac mod and extract the contents into a new folder called Zodiac_Full_Version (or name of your choice). It can be created in C:\ or wherever you choose (I put it on the Desktop).
4. Run Zodiac installer from the Zodiac_Full_Version folder.
5. Go through instructions on the installation wizard and install all files into the default location C:\DeusEx.
6. Add the Zodiac Desktop icon to Desktop.
7. Double-click Zodiac Desktop icon to start game.
I chose to copy all files and folders from the GoTY folder into C:\DeusEx because I did not want the mod to mess with or destroy what I already had in my GoTY folder. I copied the GoTY files into a new folder called C:\DeusEx because that is the default folder the Zodiac mod installer installs files to.
I was going on the assumption that the installer adds (and possibly changes) files to the core game and creates an exe and ini file based off the original game's exe and ini file. For the longest time, I was wondering why the mod's installer was not creating an exe and ini file and came to the assumption above.
This mod doesn't work on the steam version.
I got it working on the Steam version just fine. Have you tried Kentie's launcher?
Hi, how did you get this running in steam with Kenties? I can select the Zodiac package in the data directories, and hear the music and see the title screen, but it will not load the zodiac intro or Paul Denton Character creation menu. I'm thinking it has to do with where the INIs are and if Kentie's is using them over other inis. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
Kentie's uses the Zodiac.ini and ZodiacUser.ini in your Documents/Deus Ex/System/ directory. Try copying the ones in your main game folder into there. That worked for me.
Double check and make sure Zodiac.ini has the line:
DefaultGame=Zodiac.MyGameInfo
And ZodiacUser.ini should have this near the top:
Class=Zodiac.PaulDentonPlayer
I can't install this on steam version of GOTY.

im having trouble it says windows cannot fid the exe you are looking for after i try to play it
I have updated Zodiac to load appropriate high-quality meshes from HDTP Release 2, and added high-resolution UI and some Zodiac-specific bugfixes. See Moddb.com

hey im having trouble with this mod i install using the exe in the file i got from this site and when done i try to play and it says cannot find you exe
