Kamidex. A Singleplayer Source engine modification being built around the Half Life 2 story.
"The commanders of your planet notice some abnormal teleportation readings coming from earth. A crew is sent out to investigate, with you being one of them. Orbiting at a safe altitude from the earth, you watch the war between humanity and the combine. But then something terrible happens. Your entire squad looses control of their craft, and get pulled into the Earth's atmosphere by an invisible force. The light blinds you, and there's a crash. The next thing you know, you're in the middle of an abandoned building on the outskirts of 'City 11'.
Who is responsible for bringing you onto the planet? There are a lot of questions remaining unanswered, but as you struggle to find a resolution you have to battle your way through packs of Antlions, Alien-Human Hybrid Zombies, the combine, and the normal refugees of the city. You're causing panic, nobody can trust you - you can trust no one. You also have the aid of your alien weapons technology, as well as having to make use of your surroundings."

Sorry we didn't have one last week, but I guess it was just one of those times. :)
Anyway, we do have things to be released this week, including two in-game screenshots of the second level. (So, WIP). Bear in mind that we do have levels 3 and 4 in the making at this moment in time, so we're not moving too slowly!
Work is coming along nicely on the models, if they are fully skinned in the next seven days, then I will post them up for the next weekly update. If not, it's something to keep you waiting!
And because there was no update last week, I can announce now that our new website is at www.kamidex.com.. For it's release, we have designed a new website that is better suited for the mod, and for viewing on most resolutions.

Sorry for the lack of updates for the past few weeks!
We've been having a number of issues with systems - two developer computers went down, and took just under a week to get back and running. However, now we're back online and ready to continue from where we left off!
Also, goodbye to SoulReaper. He contributed a great deal towards the game! But now we're looking for an experienced mapper to join the team - see Help Wanted for details!

Ya I love the weekly updates, but dont kill yourself.
Anyway, I like the 2nd level screens, Pretty cool, only bad thing is the light prop thats not lit, but has the light sprite. :-D

Ok i'm going o say this, you should be busying yourself making the maps and content rather than planning a weekly update, that can kill you big time, do it every month or two, be more concerned on the maps rather than bloody media that people are going to rape about the looks, sure everyone likes updates, but weekly? D: you're going to kill yourself.

Oh yeah, the 'About' info (the stuff at the top of this page) was somehow reset last week when I posted the update. That's why the dates there are wrong :)
