On 1936, the long established holders of Spain's economic power, led by the Army and supported by the Church, believed they were at the point of being overwhelmed. They supposed they should initiate a counterrevolution or be crushed by a revolution. On the 18th of July, 1936, the two Spains set out to settle their differences on the field of battle: the Spanish Civil War had begun.
1936 is the first mod portraying the Spanish Civil War from a first-person point of view. You'll be able to play either the republican forces or the rebel side, and fight the most important battles on the 1936/39 war.

Hi,
This is YoChoy, from 1936. If I understand it correctly, you disabled the mod using 1936off.bat, and it remained active? If this is your case, it's the first one I know of. Basically, the bats only rename the mod files so that Breakthrough reads/ignores them. You may take a look at the .bat contents and rename the files by hand.
About your problem with pixomatic.dll, it's not caused by 1936, it's because of Breakthrough latest patch (pixomatic is a software renderer which was added with it).

Unistalled the whole game, tried to kill anything to do with medal of honour in the registry and now i can't even start the game from a fresh reinstall! I keep gettin "pixomatic.dll not found", any ideas guys before i have to do a system format?
I put the mod and update onto my machine and played a few games with my m8's but when i disabled the mod and tried to run normal Breakthrough, it was still playing the mod! One uninstall later i restart my machine, kick into a game of Breakthroughand it is still playing the mod! Looks like i'm gonna have to do an uninstall of Medal so i can play normally again now :-( Is this a recognised problem or just me?
Texts on this version are spanish, but the interface is almost a clone of the original Mohaa one, so you shouldn't have any problems. Also, we are working on an english translation that will be made available as a seperate pk3, so you're going to need this binary anyways.
It requires MOHAA + Breakthrough, and, in order to access some servers, the update patch 2.4:

CAREFUL!: Breakthrough versions 2.4 and 2.0 are not compatible. Should you install the 2.4 patch, you wont be able to enter 2.0 servers and viceversa. We'll try to keep a list of servers running 1936 including its BT version.
Some tips about the demo:
·Rifles equipped with bayonets are: Spanish Mauser 1893, Mauser Oviedo 1916 and japanese Arisaka.
· Pistols Mauser C96 and Astra 903 can be fired both in semi- and full auto mode (main fire button, semiautomatic / secondary fire for full auto)
· It's very important!! you install it to the MOHAA original folder, otherwise it wont work. Don't worry, original contents are not overwritten.
· Also, check that zPak1936a.pk2 file is the last one on the folder when sorted alphabetically. Else, other mods could overwrite it and prevent it for working as it should.
· Check your settings after running 1936 for the first time, as it runs its own settings, Breakthrough-independent. As per default, they are very low so that they fit older hardware.
