Anybody over there have any clue on how to even attempt ambient lighting?
Not bashing on you guys, but an open-source engine with even primitive, pre-rendered ambient lighting would go a long way in making it look better.
Better for the mod community too, to have a free tool like that at their hands.
A Q3 licence? Thinking of going commercial?
i know how to do ambient lighting : ), its just a preview nothing more nothing less. And yes we are thinking of going commerical.
